DRONA - The Rona

DRONA

Another good concept goes down the drain because of weak screenplay and direction.

First thing, the movie would have been great without the song sequences, the songs just brought down the speed of the movie to 0, and none of them were situational (no melodies too)

U lose the grip in first 15 minutes try sipping cola, then u hold the can in the fast scenes after that, the moment u grab the popcorns there is a song again that makes u doze of, this is all that is was doing through the movie.

all characters are good, a good superhero could have been etched
the acting is good, but the screenplay does not hold u

i would actually like this wonderful movie if it is available without songs

one indian movie we can compare in all aspects with "The Mummy"

animation, style, characters, just everything

just 2 stars from me

1920 : Served what I just expected

I wasn't expecting a "Raaz" because some movies can never be recreated, but yes i was expecting something veru close to it. I was served what as expected.

The movie starts with the backdrop of 1920 with Arjun who wants to marry a christian Lisa, opposed by his family he becomes a non believer.
The scenes are beautiful but they dont make you realise its India, palamkhet (of course the location is oversees and the horses used are foreigners too :P)
The first half of the movie has loose direction with almost no horror except a scene and little of love and emotion stuff, no fear....

But the story gets a grip just before the intermission, when I resumed with chaat , I just had my eyes on screen. Everything was perfect, scenes, acting, script, direction and everything else. Some very innovative approaches for the ghostly acting in a horror flick, the acting of the newcomers Rajneesh Duggal, Adah Sharma is good in the second half.

The fun is that a few horror scenes in the movie will actually make you laugh like hell, especially the way possessed Lisa moves in the mouse jumping here and there like "Betaal".

Overall a good movie, not a spine chilling horror.
The good part: acting in second half, graphics
Music is just wonderful, though runs only in background.

TIME MACHINE

Time Machine

People have been thinking of a time machine since ages. A machine that will help people to travel through time.
But I really very urgently need a different type of TIME MACHINE.

I need a Time Machine too!!!!!!!

I need a time machine, so that I can give people a little time in which they can laugh with their loved ones, console them when they are in distress. A lil time to think about themselves above their education, career and all other materialistic things.

I want to give a mother a little more time to sing a lullaby;
a father a little time to build sand castles at the beach;a lover a little more time to talk to the love something more than just planning;a teacher a little more time to teach something about life which is never there in the syllabus.

Can someone make a time machine that suits my needs???

I really dont understand the necessity of the heaps of money we create when we can never share it with our loved ones just because you dont have that little amount of time.

When someone needs you emotionally, and the only reason you are not available is "time", this is something i never understand!!

Are emotions not worth that time of yours???

This actually shows the extent to which we have now become mechanical.......

I always abused the West for this lifestyle, and now it has entered our very own homes, I feel helpless as this syndrome is fast spreading and i cant do a thing. Just stand still and watch the deterioration of the human race to machines.

Just try finding that lil time today for the ones who need it the most and if you get a lil smile at the end of the session do repeat it sometime again.

My First Car and My Viral Fever ... aah wat a title

Many things kept me away from writing in the past few days, a lot happened in a short span of time, the best was that i bought my FIRST CAR, I had dreamt about this since a long time, but things kept me away from it. I wanted a luxury car, but daddy wanted me to drive a simple one till I learn to drive at low speeds.
My mom was crazy she never likes me driving, coz i zoom, still she steps in atleast to go to the mandir, she insists i keep a driver, i dunno when will ppl feel i can drive normal. I had just one accident in my kundali, and i had it whn i was 13. The James Bond kind of accident, with one car actully dashing and taking the other car along a few meters, now i am an experienced "Launchpad" of Ducktales.

Then followed my ill health, with me being down and having a temprature of 104 it was fun to relax but a pain to sneeze all the way, and those silly tablets making you sweat all the day long, just cant do a thing, cant swallow food, music irritates you, the tv and computer screens seem to be the biggest problem creators.

Its foolish to be ill, but one cant help, and the worst is when few people start calling you again and again and again and again, you aint gonna be fixed in a few hours. Why dont people understand that mobiles seem like the biggest problem when you are ill, especially those silly text messages, why the hell dont they understand this!!!!

Then there are a few people, when they call it seems like a lil sweet pill going down your throat towards your heart. You talk to the person for a just a few moments and feel refreshed, at the end of the talk you feel a little recovered, alittle soothened and very much happy.

Writing down this i remember Einsteins Theory of Realtivity with its popular statement "When you are with a loved one for an hour it seems like a moment and when you are with a person who irritates you, a moment seems like an hour". This is best explained when you are ill

Jindagi kee rahen: Jindagi ka rona

Kuch saaz mein rona

kisi ki khushi k saamne apne gum ko bhulakar
mann mein rona

zindagi sirf materialistic nahi, kaafi cheezein jinpar roya jaa sakta hai, kaafi tareekon se roya jaa sakta hai, chote gamon ko bina roye bhi bhgaya jaa sakta hai
Jindagi kee rahen: Jindagi ka rona

SARKAR RAJ - A movie just too good

It was raining heavily this Saturday, still i took my big umbrella and moved out to enjoy SARKAR RAJ.
I just hoped that i dont regret. And yes I didn't, it was worth my sail on roads of mumbai filled with water to reach Fame Adlabs at Inorbit in Malad.

If you liked SARKAR, this is a movie for you !!!
and if you haven't seen SARKAR, this is great!!!! SARKAR had all about the power of Subhash Nagre, Big B, and the emrgence of his son Shankar Nagre, Big B was the most powerful face in the movie SARKAR RAJ takes it ahead, with the power now coming in the hands of Shankar Nagre, and the almighty Subhash Nagre becomes helpless and weak with everyday. Amitabh Bacchan has potrayed this role with his class, the helplessness on his face in front of his powerful son looks beautifully enacted. Less but powerful dialogues, well screenplayed scenes, a perfect background score and class direction all are the equal part of the beauty of the movie. At times I felt why a particular foolish character was added, but the climax reveals the importance of the character being that way. The story builds itself, and you grip your seats a lil more. SARKAR RAJ has an element of suspense which takes it beyond the scope of SARKAR The negative characters become the vital part of movie The best part is BigB, in his transition, from the weak to yet again powerful SARKAR, you really admire his acting skills in this, I doubt there is some other actor on the globe who can do this with such beauty. Infact i believe all the actors in film are at the best perfomances, totlly power packed. Finally at the end, there has been a slot left for SARKAR 3 which i wait for overall a beautiful movie, if you dont like guys n gals dancing near trees

Jaane Kaise Shab Dhali, Jaane Kaise Dil Khila

People have been in love, and I have been called a Love Guru all my life till now.
Right from my school days I used to advice boy sand femmes both, the ways to get their love and I dont remember a single being unsuccessful; This followed till college and I really liked these games.

kuch waqt baad mera logon ko is sab se
bachane ka mann hota hai, kabhi kabhi ye dil kehta hai

Haseenon ka kafilaa masjid ki taraf jaa raha tha
humne apni taraf bula liya,
khud toh barbaad ho hi chuke the
khuda ko barbaad hone se bacha liya

aadmi bewakuf q ho jaata hai, even the most stable minds become restless, jo cheezein saaf dikhai deti hain, dimaag gawahi deta hai, bas dil k kehne par koi aage badh jaata hai. The heart becomes the part that controls you in totality.
I find it amazing at times, it seems like the one in love is Sandra Bullock in theDriving seat of the 555 bus in "SPEED", you dont have the breaks, you dont have the controls, all you have is just the accelerator, and over that too it will blast the bus the moment you speed down.

The most intelligent and focussed people (both boys n gals) lose their senses and flow in the feeling, change their attitude towards life and their personality too, its amazing to see the male with strong eyebrows in a love state, there are similar traits of females too.

kuch ajeeb kashish hai is mein
hum toh the raah mein sab se mazbut darakht the
ye ishq ek aandhi ki tarah aaya
humko ek sukhe patte ki tarah uda le gaya
aur hum bhi kambakhat
uski rau mein khush ho udte chale gaye

The funniest part still remains ki kai baar aap jaan bujhkar hanste hue andhe kue mein kudte hain, jaante hue ki niche girne par badi zoron ki chot lagnewaali hi hai.

For these feelings I have always loved a movie(its actually one of my favorites), the Amol Palekar, Vidya Sinha, Ashok Kumar starrer "Choti Si baat"
I just love the movie, and in many cases i feel it to be a part of my life, with me playing the role of Asok Kumar.

Ab bas aur baad mein pareshaan karunga ;)
