I wasn't expecting a "Raaz" because some movies can never be recreated, but yes i was expecting something veru close to it. I was served what as expected.
The movie starts with the backdrop of 1920 with Arjun who wants to marry a christian Lisa, opposed by his family he becomes a non believer.
The scenes are beautiful but they dont make you realise its India, palamkhet (of course the location is oversees and the horses used are foreigners too :P)
The first half of the movie has loose direction with almost no horror except a scene and little of love and emotion stuff, no fear....
But the story gets a grip just before the intermission, when I resumed with chaat , I just had my eyes on screen. Everything was perfect, scenes, acting, script, direction and everything else. Some very innovative approaches for the ghostly acting in a horror flick, the acting of the newcomers Rajneesh Duggal, Adah Sharma is good in the second half.
The fun is that a few horror scenes in the movie will actually make you laugh like hell, especially the way possessed Lisa moves in the mouse jumping here and there like "Betaal".
Overall a good movie, not a spine chilling horror.
The good part: acting in second half, graphics
Music is just wonderful, though runs only in background.
